Anorexia
Anorexia is commonly known as loss of appetite. When we loss interest of consuming food, that state is called loss of appetite. It can occur because of some internal or external or even psychological reasons. But there are a few way outs which can give you some effective treatments.
• Garlic is also beneficial for treating anorexia. Pour 3-4 garlic cloves in a cup of boiling water. Filter it & pour ½ tsp of lime into it. Now drink the liquid.
• For treating anorexia apple has also been recommended. It has the potential to encourage the flow of pepsin (protein digesting enzyme).
• Orange has the potential to enhance your appetite as well as able to increase the activity of your digestive system. So try to consume 2-3 oranges or you can have the juice also.
• Consuming raw tomatoes can also give you some effective remedy for anorexia.
• Prepare a mixture of ginger juice (1 tsp), lime juice (1 tsp) & rock salt (1 gram). Keep the mixture in a tightly covered bottle & place it under the sunlight for almost 3 days. Now have it (1 tsp) after every meal.
• Never indulge in extreme fasting it can be a cause of appetite loss.
• Always remember to maintain a well balanced diet & try to avoid oily foods.
• Daily exercise is also necessary for remaining fit.
• Try to include vegetable salad in your meal. It can enhance your digestion system along with the anorexia.
• Inadequate sleep as well as activities can support the loss of appetite.
Intestinal Parasite
Tapeworms, roundworms etc are a few known intestinal parasites. These can cause diarrhoea, tiredness, stomach intestinal1pain, weight loss, nausea etc. These parasites can live in our body without showing any indicators, but is has various effective home remedies.
• Having raw garlic is able to reduce the worms from intestinal tracks. Try to consume 2 to 3 raw garlic regularly in an empty stomach.
• Prepare a mixture of raw papaya juice (1 tbsp) along with hot water (3 tbsp) & honey (1 tbsp). Have the mixture regularly.
• Pumpkin seeds have also been recommended for curing intestinal parasite. In 250 ml boiling water pour a tbsp of pumpkin seed & now have it in empty stomach.
• Papaya seeds are believed to be a rich source of caricin, which is able to take off the roundworms. In a cup of milk add 1 tsp of papaya seed powder & consume it in an empty stomach. Papaya itself is also very much beneficial for intestinal parasite. It’s a rich source of papain which is capable of treating the intestinal parasites.
• Pomegranate is an outstanding source of anthelmintic properties, which are able to kill those parasitic worms.
• Carrot is also quite beneficial especially for thread worms. Try to have a cup of grated carrot in your morning meal without adding other food products into that meal.
We all want to keep our family healthy, but we need to know the proper ways in this regard. One of the important family-sugar-intakefactors is reducing the sugar consumption. Excessive sugar ingest can lead to blood sugar problem, cavities, obesity etc.
• Consuming sugar is a habit mostly common among children. To help them grow a good habit provide them fresh fruits, whole grain crackers, nuts instead of foods full of refined sugar like cookies etc. This habit will help them to stay healthy.
• While purchasing food products go for unsweetened food products like- oatmeal, cold cereal etc instead (so that you can use the sugar substitute) of pre sweetened.
• While you are preparing a cake or cookie use half of the total required amount of sugar & fill the next half with sugar substitute. Several spices (cinnamon raisins also) also help you to get the sweet flavour; you just need to identify them.
• While you are trying to reduce the sugar consumption in your family, don’t ever eliminate them completely. It can encourage depression as well as your family will turn desperate to have them.
• For your family’s well-being instead of sodas (full of sugar) give them fruit juices with full of valuable nutrients. You can also provide sugar free soda as a replacement for soft drinks.
